Software-Tool for dimensioning and optimisation of actuator / lever drive
The geometrical arrangement within a damper linkage significantly influences the resulting damper torque and the resulting force in the coupling rood.
Up to now the optimized linkage layout was done graphically. With the new software-tool EPL681 the calculation can be done in an easy and time saving way. The software provides an output file which tabularly and graphically indicates the resulting damper torque and force in the coupling rod with the increment of 1°. Often geometrical dimensions are fixed by the side requirements. To obtain this information a form is available via the internet. The calculation of the geometry will be done by the local sales organisation or by the A&P export sales team.
EPL681 significantly reduces the danger of oversizing actuators which are more expensive than technically necessary. This increases the chance to win the order.
