Student Profile
System integrators, OEMS or users that are developing and/or supporting an automated system using the AC500 PLC.


Course Goal
After this course you will have an understanding of:
  • The basic PLC theory including primary elements, signal processing, scan time, through-put, etc.
  • Components and AC500 system configuration
  • Use basic binary operations, times, counters, comparators, and calculation of operations and how they relate to the AC500/PS501 Control Builder software.
  • Document creation, testing and troubleshooting simple application programs.
  • Basic features of the AC500 including addressing, analogs, communications, interrupts, high speed counters, pulse outputs, memory cartridge, and integrated HMI software functionality.
