Daniel Assandri is Country Manager for Canada. Daniel joined ABB in 1985 and has held a variety of international management positions, primarily in Asia and Europe. Most recently, Daniel has been President of ABB Hong Kong Ltd., head of the Power Systems division for China and North Asia and member of the country management team of ABB China Ltd..
He has also held several management positions in the utilities management, high voltage technologies and power generation businesses in Switzerland.
Daniel holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from his home country of Argentina and a post degree specialization in Nuclear Power at the Politecnico di Milano in Italy. He also has a Euro Manager Diploma from the FIABB Business School in Helsinki, Finland.
Daniel holds citizenships in Italy and Argentina and speaks four languages: English, Italian, Spanish and German.
