Tjiwi Kimia is one of the leading paper mills in Indonesia located in Mojokerto, East Java. The company operates one of the biggest paper mills in the country for art paper, high-spec writing and printing papers as well as paper and cardboard products.
ABB offered Tjiwi Kimia Paper Products a refurbishment of an existing paper roll winding machine using the AC500 automation system.
The automation solution
ABB's scope of supplies included:
1 unit of AC500 Programmable logic controller
1 unit of CP554 Human machine interface and
I/O modules with a total of 80 digital inputs, 80 digital outputs,
16 analogue inputs, 16 digital outputs.
